History
The V2V concept and technology was developed by Comunitas in Brazil. It was implemented by individuals involved in corporate volunteer programs and community organizations. In 2005, the expansion of V2V inspired the collaboration between Comunitas and Chandra Foundation. Omidyar Network supported V2V’s growth and outreach.
Starbucks is the first company to partner with V2V in supporting this innovative, global space. Given the guiding principles and global reach unique to Starbucks, together with V2V, this partnership is well-positioned to build a vibrant community filled with passionate people who want to enrich their lives and the lives of those around them.
