What is V2V?
V2V (volunteer-to-volunteer) is a social network with a purpose. It is a trusted space to meet up with friends, learn new things, connect with others, get inspired, and take action. It connects teachers with those who want to learn. It connects organizers with those who want to act. It connects leaders with those who want to be inspired. As a member you will have the opportunity to:

Create your own unique profile.
Create new actions that you would like to lead.
Find out new ways to enrich your community.
Share and showcase experiences.

What kind of information will I find on V2V
You will find people and their profiles that describe their skills, interests, hobbies, and passions. You will find actions (local and global) that you can participate in by collaborating with others.

What kind of information can I post on V2V?
You can create your own unique profile based on your skills, interests, hobbies, and passions. You can also create and lead new actions that will inspire others to collaborate, connect, and take action. See terms of use for more detail.

What is My Dashboard?
The Dashboard is where you manage your network. A place where you can:

Invite Friends to V2V.
Receive messages from other members.
Receive recommended actions and notifications from V2V.
Receive updates about your actions and your People.
Check quick links.
Read V2V news.

What is an Action?
An action is the collaboration around an event that will enrich yourself and those around you.

Why should I create an Action?
Each action makes our community a better place to live. You may create a page for each action you choose to lead. By showcasing your actions, you have the opportunity to connect with, teach, and get others to participate in a shared passion, hobby, or interest.

How do I participate in an Action?

Go to the page of the action that interests you and click Participate.
Search new actions by going to the main page and clicking on the Action tab.
Contact the leader of the action with any questions you might have.
To join moderated actions you will need approval from the leader.
To join public actions you will not need approval from the leaders.

How do I recommend an Action?
To recommend an action:

Go to the action you would like to recommend and click on Recommend Action.
Visit the Action Gallery to find available actions.
Note: Recommendations will significantly increase participation in your action.

What is a related action
A related action is a similar action. To add a related action:

You must be participating in an action to add a related action to it.
Click on Action tab - related actions.
Click on Add/Remove related actions.
Type in the URL name of the related action.

If you do not know the URL of your related action:

Find the action you would like to add.
Copy the URL name (i.e. www.v2v.net/actions/blueplanet).
Paste URL in add related action field.
Click on Apply.

How can I add or remove someone as favorite?
To add/remove someone as a Favorite:

Go to the person’s profile page and click on Add/Remove Favorite.
Visit the People Gallery to find the person you are looking for.
Use Search Box to find a specific person in the V2V network.

How can I invite someone to V2V?
To invite a friend to V2V:

You must be signed in.
Go to My Dashboard, Homepage, or People Tab and see the Invite a Friend field.
Type in the friend’s email address and click Invite.
Your friend will receive an email with a special invitation unique to them.
