Did you know...?

Teenagers are more likely to volunteer than any other generation.

Nearly two thirds of 10-15 yr olds have helped raise money for charity.

More than three in four young people who complete Prince's Trust Programmes go on to work, education or training.

Young people on Prince's Trust programmes have contributed almost £100 million to local commuities through tens of thousands of community projects across the UK. 

The Prince's Trust's Youth Week took place from 15th - 21st November to challenge the negative perception of young people by highlighting the positive contributions young people make to society.

The Trust also hopes that the publicity surrounding Youth Week will have encouraged young people in need of help, to get in touch with The Prince's Trust.

A number exciting activities took place over the course of the week:

  • Young people across the UK shadowed their local MP.
  • The media outlet, The Metro gave The Prince's Trust daily coverage, featuring a different young person in each of their daily editions for the entire week.
  • Celebrity ambassadors visited a number of young people on Prince's Trust programmes.
