Our store organized a walk through the great swamp in New Jersey carrying pails of water to symbolize how far people in Africa would go to find clean water. Along the walk we had partners and volunteers read interesting facts about water. The walk helped us raise funds for local charities and already we are planning next year's walk.

Starbucks customers donated 3,600 bottles of water to Phoenix Rescue Mission for World Water Day yesterday at Arcadia Park in Phoenix! Our Nicole Pena was there manning the PRM booth & said it was a great time with great people - complete with a BBQ!
The bottles collected will go to provide heat relief to homeless men, women & children on the streets during the long, hot summer in Phoenix.

363 days, 22 hours and 28 minutes agoCharles Sanders We met at the Dock St. store and had thirty to forty people participate comprised of St.John’s College students, partners and friends of Starbucks. It was a beautiful morning for a 5 mile walk that took us through downtown Annapolis, around State Circle and across the Severn River Bridge. We managed to raise $450 for the four local charities and are planning on having a 2nd Annual Annapolis World Water Day Walk. A special thanks to Lesley and Jason for their support and endurance!
