Description

Did you know that 1 billion people around the world lack access to improved water supply?  That is why the United Nations General Assembly designated March 22 as World Water Day.  This year will be the 17th annual observance of this day.

The theme for World Water Day 2009 is Water Connects.  We all need water and all water flows together connecting us all and the need to protect this needed resource.  Let's start talking and planning now to make WWD 2009 the best yet.

I encourage everyone to join or organize a walk for water in your community.
