Description

10th Annual Walk to Cure Cancer in Worcester, MA, at the UMass Medical School Campus off of Belmont Street.  We are serving coffee and hot chocolate to all the workers and walkers, and are looking to get a big walking team together.  There will be an estimated 14,000 walkers at the event.  We would like to make individual Starbucks MYM grants for all those involved.  It is a huge event with an enormous impact on the community.  The official event site is http://walktocurecancer.org where you will see that Starbucks is listed as an "In Kind Sponsor."  This years special guest is Michael Damian, recording artist and star of "The Young and the Restless."
