Description

Join Ida Monteleone-Siciliapno, ASM from Carmel, NY in a walk to raise awareness and donations for a cure for her son Steven who has Cystic Fibrosis.

The walk will take place at Rye Playland Park, NY. Exit 19 off I-95

Registration starts at 9am and the walk begins at 10am.

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Sticky mucus is produced that:

• clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
• obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.

*We also need monitary donations which Starbucks will match as long as the money is donated by a partner and presented with the "Choose to give" form at the walk.
