John Connor You may already realize this; however, in case you may not. There is emperical data (quantification) that smiling can reduce blood pressure (temporarily) and also positively affect other chemical releases in our systems. It helps us sytematically/biologically live.

Dionne Ballew I customer told me that I was the first person he saw every single day and that my smile at 5:45am every single morning started his day off even better than the coffee.  It's so easy to lose sight of the fact that a simple smile might make the difference in someone's day.

Chelsie Ward my mom always told me that we always look better when we smile. It's always inviting to the customers, friends, strangers, and who ever else that you impact everyday with a smile on your face. :) I try my best to smile everyday. Especially when I'm working.

Let's practice ALOT of smiling this holiday season, especially when tensions get high. SMILE, SMILE, SMILE!!!!!!!! A smile kinda takes away all "bad thoughts" you might be thinking when you are out shopping. LOL!!!!!!

Robin Murena Seriously, my day goes by a lot faster while smiling and being upbeat...and people react better to you!  Smile! It's the easiest way to make a day!

Bri Tarpey The thing that I love the most is when the customer smiles back! It makes my job so much easier and puts me in a way better mood! It warms my heart when customers comment on our friendliness and tell them how much it means to them. :)

Benjamin Roehrl @Jessica - That's an awesome story!  It was a rainy Friday here in Maine so we broke out the Mardi Gras beads and everyone put them on.  All the customers got excited and wanted to know what was happening, we told them it was just for them, most smiled and I hope there day was a little better.

This is so very True !!

Just the other day a customer thanked the Barista and I for smiling at him. He said that he was having a really bad day,  and that it was a reminder to him that there are still people in the world who care. He thanked us.

That meant so much to us.......pass the smiles on you never know who your going to impact.
