Basically, this is a race in 25 cities around the world on August 31st. In the U.S., you can race in New York, L.A., Chicago, or Austin. Or you have the option of purchasing a Nike Plus Wristband and Nike Plus Shoes- or an adaptor. For every mile that you log on 08/31, Nike will donate to the charity of your choice - world wildlife fund, a charity that helps provide education to third world countries, or a charity that helps to research and fight cancer.

City-specific registration should be up soon, but for those of you that have already saved a spot, you should get an email when your city goes up online.

How can we get our Nike Human Race ambassadors onto V2V to start rallying the troops? Each action should have specific information about "How it Works" (i.e. 1) Date, Time 2) Which store to start at? 3) Get Maps for your run at Starbucks, 4) Run the race, 5) finish the race and then what?...) Just an idea.

222 days, 16 hours and 37 minutes agoZiba cranmer So, its apparently even more appropriate that we have a Human Race action on the Starbucks V2V site - apparently there will be running clubs linked to starbucks shops around the world! Get caffinated and run! Actually, my coach in college used to say that we should get caffinated about 30 minutes before taking the field, so it works!
