Barb Stodden www.recyclingcenters.org is a great site to find recycling centers in your area and the links can help you find out what type of materials each center accepts.  I just used it to find a center that will recycle steel.  Hope it helps the rest of you.

Monica Flipper Thanks!!  Without any provided space for recycling at our store, we are always trying to find ways to recycle.  I will share this with my team.. I know they will love it!

Benjamin Roehrl We came up today with another way to recycle at work.  The bar towels that we get delivered every week come in bundles wrapped in two rubberbands.  They are somewhat large and we really don't have much use for them in the store.  So we are going to start saving them (instead of throwing them away) and give tham back to the linen company.

Ben, Smurf-it is the company that starbucks uses to set up recycling.  They have worked out fabulously here in southwest florida. And the services they offer vary depending on your landlord.  I set up the black bullet trash cans and used white lettering to mark the can for recycling.

In our area the chargers run for about 8cents a pound.  Our store got a blue recycle bin for them.  The partners at the store are great about our recycling, we do plastic, paper, glass and now the co2.

@Sharon - could you share your story about how you got all those items recycled in your store?  Up here in the Northern New England region we are starting a "think tank" of different store types, cafe, DT, urban, suburban, to develop best practices and move us forward with recycling more.  We would love to hear your success story on this!

I have a partner in my store who single handedly got milk carton, newspaper, and cardboard recycling started in our store.  She will be so excited when she sees this.Way to go whoever started this action.

So we did our first collection of chargers from the nine stores in our district.  We have been collecting for about  2 months or so.  The store found that storing them in Espresso bullets was easiest.  I collected about 20 of them today and plan on bringing them to the recycler tomorrow.
