Jason Giffin I keep five reusable bags in my trunk for those unplanned stops at the grocery store. Always be prepared. The challenge is making these life adjustments seamless.

Anali Orr @Kelly!  In my house, we hang the reusable bags on the door handle.  When we try to shut the door they swing and always get in the way!  When I leave to go grocery shopping, the bag gets in the way of shutting the door and then I remember to grab it and take it with me.  Haha- kind of a ridiculous tactic but I always remember :)

I have collected so many reusable bags from conferences and conventions, I keep them in my trunk. When we take my husband's vehicle to shop, I always forget them. Does anyone have good tips to help me remember to use my reusable bags? No worries, I ALWAYS recyle bags we get when I forget our reusables.

Amy Blanchard I recently purchased a reusable bag called a Baggu, which is nylon and folds up to about the size of a deck of cards with it's own pouch. I took it when I was out of town on business for 2 weeks (in my purse) and managed to only acquire 1 bag the entire time I was away. It has been a great investment and now I really have no excuse! I use the reusable bags from the grocery stores for the majority of my shopping and this fills the need for any "spur of the moment" shopping I may do.

Keith Maher I'm a bit obsessed with this one. I bring my own bags everywhere. They're in our cars. In my work bag. At home. And cashiers everywhere are so well trained to bag your purchases, I have to quickly tell them I have my own before my stuff is bagged and ready to go. I forgot bags at the supermarket one day and just had all my kids help carry a few things out to the car with me. The cashier thought I was a little crazy, but we did it.

Paul Leach I know Starbucks had bags made for a manager conference a few years ago,  Why not make them available for sale, with proceeds going towards a cause?  Buy a couple, then you can be coordinated while saving the planet!

Jessica Owens I've been doing this one for a while-not only for grocery shopping but for most all shopping (though I look a little odd strolling through Bell Square with my Whole Foods bag!).

Nora Clark A cool thing to do with promotional T-shirts we can't wear to work anymore is to make a bag out of them! Turn inside out, sew the bottom edges together, cut off the short sleeves, and use a bowl to make a deeper scoop in the neck area. Walla. + you get to advertise our company and brand at the same time :)

    Hi Everyone-

I'm a big fan of Reisenthel shopping bags.  They are really sturdy and I use the market baskets all the time for groceries.  They never seem to wear out and I get compliments all the time.  Check them out at the link below.  I picked mine up in Germany but you can also get them on line.
