Description

(RED)'s primary objective is to engage the private sector in raising awareness and funds for the Global Fund, to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. Companies whose products take on the (PRODUCT)^RED mark contribute a significant percentage of the sales or portion of the profits from that product to the Global Fund to finance AIDS programs in Africa, with an emphasis on the health of women and children.

There are many ways you can help support this cause and bring relief to the AIDS crisis in Africa. Here a few ways to get involved:

• Donate to the global fund by purchasing a Starbucks Holiday Exclusive Beverage.

• Join one of the (RED) actions on V2V.

• Create your own (RED) action!

• Participate in the World AIDS Day Conversation.

• Educate yourself on the Global Fund's mission and share this with friends.

• Experience the life of a child living in an AIDS-affect community in Africa via a virtual tour.

• Sponsor a child living in a community severely affected by the HIV/AIDS crisis.

• Find and participate in an AIDS walk.

• Watch videos on previous World AIDS day events.

• Discuss the issue with others around the world.
