I was just going to ask if I can have my oatmeal in a mug. I love the latte/oatmeal pairing! sometimes I can't think even beyond my coffee cup, but it's recently on my mind every time I dispose of my oatmeal container.
as a customer, hopefully other customers will see me ask and do the same! :-)

And I have to comment on the post below, customers really do not know that this option is available to them. I am trying to convert as many customers as I can! Just remember to order more mugs and glasses when they start to get the hang of it. LoL. It wouldn't be fun if you run out.

So offering for-here-ware is a great way to create the third place atmosphere while doing good for our environment. How can you personally take that to the next level? For instance, you've suggested a for-here experience, now what? Maybe you can suggest they have their bakery item on a plate also! How about that Perfect Oatmeal in a mug?! Okay so what's next? Silverware instead of plasticware? Awesome!
With each human interaction, we have an opportunity to do something more than simply collide, we can connect.
It doesn't stop there though. Once we connect, we can continue, we can synergize.
How do you synergize?
Connect with a purpose.
Any thoughts? Things you do to create the third place or minimize your environmental footprint ?
